TT, you’re jumping the gun. I saw this the other day. The Belgium league consists of 16 clubs so only play 30 games a season. Considering they’ve already play 29 games and Bruges are 15 points clear of the second placed club, their season was already over, hence them closing it down as Bruge couldn’t be caught.

So not as straightforward as you think.

The Belgian decision is the most logical one to take,we have played over 75% of the season and the authorities should accept the league placings now as final.Clubs then would have time to assemble squads for the next season and new fixtures can be completed. There would be immense legal and expensive actions from Coventry, ourselves and not to mention WBA and Leeds, if this was overturned. The third spot ,via play offs, could possibly played behind closed doors or the now standing third spot club is automatically promoted. This is the fairest way to do it and the decision by the EFL should be made now.

British Open scheduled for July has been canceled and put back 'till next year. Shows that 'big' sporting crowds aren't really going to be in our immediate future so I wouldn't be planning of seeing any live football even if the season is played to a conclusion.

The summer transfer window will be moved and contracts ending on 30 June will be extended for a short period under proposals agreed by football's major stakeholders.

BBC Sport understands talks initiated by world governing body Fifa and including confederations, federations, clubs, players and leagues have reached agreement over a number of issues arising out of the Covid-19 pandemic.

All parties now accept that completing the 2019-20 season by 30 June, as initially hoped, will not happen.

Aleksander Ceferin, president of European governing body Uefa, has spoken of the campaign being concluded in August, but with domestic leagues and cups, plus European competitions to fit in, there is no guarantee of that given football across the continent remains suspended.

So basically they are almost saying that this season is over. Just requires verification from FIFA, the Premier League and the EFL. There will be some banging on doors but, you are where you currently are in the league for a reason. You either won or lost more than others and all positions should stand.

Liverpool win the title and rightly so with three teams relegated as they are now. Championship, 3 up 3 down same system also the same for League 1. League 2, two up 2 down I think that's what they do in League 2?

If there's any integrity in football the season will be declared null & void. For the UK it's a national emergency, most of the country's in the world same. You can't have sides declared winners without achieving that on the field of play. Bookies won't pay on anything other than that. I'm assuming that. What's being said season not ending while September. Why is football different from other sports they are either cancelling or postponing. It's like saying Wimbledon tennis we'll play it later starting play early in the morning but they will only play tournament like it's meant to be played. The Open golf said the main reason for cancelling emergency services they are have far more urgent priorities.
