Will anyone be running out for a Chinese takeaway when this is over, now you know what they eat?
I have never liked having one, it has to be twenty years or more since i had one. They aren't the most hygienic of people.

Always enjoyed Chinese food...mainly curries.......I see no change in that....But if you ignorantly want to conclude that....well go for it. They have provided a great service during the lock down over here. And been more then busy as well...

The cruelty they show to animals, boiling dogs and cats alive is disgusting. They have an appalling record of human rights as well. Still if you want to ignore all of that because you enjoy a curry, go for it.

I was watching film from that Wuhan market and recoiled in horror at seeing live cats in cages and had to turn over.

Some years ago a popular Chinese takeaway just down from Stourbridge football ground was raided by health inspectors.

They found half an Alsatian dog in the freezer.

These people are filthy animals.

I was a builder and did several jobs in Chinese take away shops and believe me some of them were not pleasant, I had to remove an ordinary household sink unit from one of them and when I pulled it away from the wall there were 40 big fat white slugs behind it, another had an inspection cover in the back room just laid over the manhole not sealed, in that same shop an old woman was preparing food with a streaming cold and didn't bother to turn away when she sneezed. So Dubbag tuck into your Chinese in your own ignorance.

I am aware of the cruel treatment of animals both in the UK and Ireland and all across the world. Its one of the main reason we have a lot of these outbreaks.....Remember the feeding of Spine to cows that started the BSE crosses?
Or even more recently the processing of horse meat into food in France? You think it is only in China? I stopped eating meat back in the 80's.
As to your point on human rights??? Do you think most Chinese are over here because of their love for the Communist party?
Is that why you post that?
May be it is because of the human rights abuse that go on over there...that they gave themselves a better life by leaving China??

Never had a Chinese, India , McDonalds, Kfc take away. Just plain cooking and Italian for me.
Have worked in Chinese and Indian restrurants, if i liked the food wouldn't have anything from them.
but to be fair worked in some poor English pubs

No matter what the rights and wrongs are, I honestly believe that Chinese restaurants and take-aways will lose a great deal of trade due to this pandemic.
