First Jack Grealish ,now Kyle Walker.

Are these two so called professionals stupid or what? Walker is now the 2nd high profile footballer to be breaking the rules by socialising in the government lockdown. We’d all like to be out and about , mixing with friends and relatives, going to parties and other social events, but right now , we cannot do these things we take for granted. Unfortunately, these two idiots have taken the law into their own hands and think they are exempt from the current situation. They are not intelligent enough to see that they are putting themselves at great risk, but a lot of others at the same time, possibly taking up valuable time of NHS workers , who have much more important things to do, when the Corona Virus death rate is going up and up.
Words fail me, there are no words to describe the behaviour of these two prima donnas, who think ,that by apologising, everything will be ok.It won’t be ok until fools like these two and others start doing what we are instructed to do, to overcome this horrible position everyone is in at the moment. Lock the pair of them up, and throw away the key.

Please don't fall off that high horse malwayne. Grealish was getting pished, Walker was getting laid. WTF is the problem? These lads are NOT role models, they are just normal lads like us with wads of cash to waste.

I am only repeating what lots of others are thinking right now. You know it’s wrong, I know it’s wrong ,yet these hyped up individuals think they can get away with it. What sort of example are they setting ? Of course they are role models, they are high profile people.Youngsters especially ,look up to them, especially with those connected with Saturday afternoons at Villa Park or the Etihad.Lots of money or not, they are just beyond belief and they should know better. I wonder what their families think about it ?

I stand by what I have said over many years. Professional footballers are NOT role models.

Seriously, would you allow any children from your own families to be guided by the moral compass of let's say Wayne Rooney or John Terry?

They play professional football, end of.

Totally agree BT, they're just daft lads with far too much time and money on their hands and daft lads do daft things. They're not the cause of this problem and they can't solve it, people should get off their backs.

I never know when to take you seriously Alf.

George Best was my role model. He provided me with the perfect excuse to get laid as often as possible and drink two litres of Vodka a day and look what happened to him.

A role model ? A genius Yes : with a massive flaw who got a second chance and still cocked it up, Very sad indeed.

Today’s players though really should know better, educated to keep from the public eye as well not like when George was a superstar.

Do you mean professional footballers like Danny Drinkwater army88? I see very little evidence of him "knowing better", or being educated to keep away from the public eye as well.
