    O/T:- Up to date music!

A few recent posts such as "The season to restart behind closed doors" have had musical references which always seem to be at least 50 years old!

Can each reader of this post name a song (preferably a good one! ) that is less than say, three years old.

Please don't turn this into "music now is rubbish, it was better in my day" because it might just be you don't listen to any new stuff.

I'm hoping to discover some great new music and artists to help while away the days until covid is finished and football is back.

Sweet But Psycho - Ava Max

Just a catchy song I heard that stuck in my head for a while even though I misheard the lyrics!

Not knowing your taste in music, it's difficult to know what to suggest.

I'm half-way through my 4th week of self-isolation and during that time I've come across no end of music on youtube by artists I've never heard of. Some of this may be older than 3 years but it's "new" to me, so here goes.

The first offering is by two sisters, Rebecca and Megan Lovell originally from North Georgia. Great vocals and slide guitar playing.

The second is by a group called Pomplamoose, husband and wife multi-instrumentalists Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn.

The third is a genre that's new to me although it's been around a while I reckon, Electro Swing. With its roots in the 1920s I guess the 2020s is the perfect time for this. Two examples, the first always brings a smile to my face when I see how much fun the girl dancing is having. The second is by a French group, Caravan Palace.

Really like the electro swing stuff. I know it's older than 3 years old but the last CD I was ever compelled to buy was Caro Emerald, not quite as electro but plenty of swing!

The first song you linked looks and sounds like Larkin Poe.

Rebecca and Megan ARE Larkin Poe, named after their great great great grandfather.
