    Food/ale van at NYS again

Let’s hope flour isn’t looking in.

After many requests we are doing another ‘one off’ pop up shop.

    Breadcakes

We will also have the new stock of Chantry Brewery - Mighty Millers 🍺

    10am to 2pm

At a time when police are asking to Gov to tighten regulation on lockdowns coming into the Easter weekend.

Quote Guardian "Police chiefs want the government to consider toughening coronavirus lockdown restrictions, the Guardian has learned, as they head into the Easter bank holiday weekend with concerns that a growing minority will flout the rules."

    Because some might want food.

Also I didn’t realise at the time it’s Easter weekend.

Maybe not cross buns should have been on list

Just seen this. Great idea. Glad they're doing it again.

As the club can't be bothered to open up the shop, I'm setting up a stall down there selling all my old RUFC memorabilia

Scarves, programmes, rosettes and pin badges etc. Even got a commemorative dinner plate from the 1884 / 1984 centenary

We want as many of you down there as possible, bring the family, make a day out of it, come and say hi and we,ll shake everyone's hand

Just to be clear I'm not doing it for charity or RUFC though it,s just to line my own back pocket

On a serious note I,ve never previously criticised the selling of food as I could see the merit in that.
But now that shelf stripping has subsided I can't see why this is necessary.
I just hope that both the Twigg family and RUFC have consulted with the Police beforehand

Chantry Brewery I've no sympathy for at all. They are encouraging people to break the law
