Some wonderful names around at that time. Terry Dactyl and the Dinosaurs spring to mind.

Along the same lines but completely different. if that makes sense, I always liked The Temperance Seven. I think "Pasadena" is the only song I know all the words too.

The film in the clip is apparently a Sci Fi movie called "The 13th" floor. Never heard of it but it looks interesting, might try to track it down.

    Nothing else to do!

Another interesting one is a group originally called The Golliwogs. I wonder how that would be viewed today! Does anyone know what they changed their name to? Had a brilliant hit in 1969, same year as the moon landing is a clue

Just after Keith Moon died i read the book written by his chauffeur / minder who spoke of the things he got up to.
One of them was when Moon and Viv Stanshall decided to dress up as SS officers.
They went to a German beer kellar in London and kept shouting schnell to the waiter. They were were thrown out and then went to a Jewish bakery in Golders Green and demanded German bread lol.

I would recommend Dear Boy: The Life of Keith Moon by Tony Fletcher. It contains references to Moonie’s escapades with Stanshall as well as much, much more. Apologies if you have already read it
