well you're talking sh1te again saying Connolly was part of best defence in 5/6 seasons cos he wasnt, we were better when he was out the team last season. FWIW i've been impressed with him this season and hope that continues

Arguably, any time that Connolly is out the team, Butcher or Watson made a better partnership with Reynolds!

It's too simplistic to say taty turn around was just down to Connelly coming back in though. What else was happening to the team at that time?

Watson ended up at Dunfermline. Its not like any of the Premiership teams were falling over themselves to sign him

That's the thing TTT, our downturn in form is equally down to Clark getting injured but I'm not seeing the same posters pointing that out.

There are so many fans on here who can't wait for Connolly's next mistake. And if he doesn't make one then he nearly will have done. And if he has a good game then it's best ignored. It's not compulsory to have a boo-boy in the team. Some players are just prone to being mis-trusted without logic, others not. Butcher for example is in the latter category.

We were discussing Connolly getting a new contract, the pros and cons of it. It's still a player signing a contract so it's still allowed on the transfer thread I'd imagine?
