The Times are reporting that the PL's lawyers are scrutinising Saudi involvement in pirating of their broadcasts to see if the takeover can be blocked.
The govt, well Culture Secretary Oliver Dowden when questioned about it today, said 1st of all its the Public Investment Fund buying the club not MBS personally. So unless they prove PIF were pirating which they can't its just another bit of hot air. The case was thrown out in a French Court.
I am still on the cans and will be long after the done deal is announced.
Good to hear. All this objection is just accusations. None have been proven in court. They need to be convictions. Enjoy a drink Zip. If anything it will calm your worries down a bit.
It wouldn't be this far into the checks if this was a problem.
What are the worries, 1.Human Rights, 1st thing they would have checked as its the main hurdle. 2nd This so called Piracy issue. 3rd Capital. Not a problem. Then the rest of the check they go through.
This is all in the English press. Its Ashley's last kick in the teeth for us fans. Bishop his mate has been busy and people are panicking. Funny how they are now all vocal about the new owners but not 1 said a bad word about Fat Mike.
Believe me, Fatty is fuming he needed to accept 40m less than he wanted.
