A bit in the news today that the semis and final of this season’s tournament will definitely be getting played at some point, likely near the start of whenever the new season kicks in. I’ve just realised that it’s a wee bit frustrating that we didn’t now get past Hibs which we could have done. We’d have ended up with BSC Glasgow and then ICT to get to a semi against a Hearts team which by then as we now know may well have been decimated by relegation coupled with our undoubted strengthening after promotion. The West Coast tribute act was also out too. Not saying we’d have won it, but getting to the Final would certainly have been realistic.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, can’t deny it did make me laugh as well so fair do’s to peter. However, I know my OP is all full of if’s, but’s and maybe’s but it was frustrating seeing the way the draw panned out but yeah I ken it’s all if my auntie had baws etc. But on a serious note what those games showed was that we lost that game ultimately in the second half at Easter Road through an inability to defend the centre of the box from crosses - a better CH is a definite requirement moving forward.

Also moving forward, don’t ban peter - I love him really.

We lost that game at Easter Rd because yir mate couldn't compose himself enough when making a challenge in the box with a few minutes to go of the half when we were leading.

That and the ****e defending in the 2nd half.
