What plans have gone down the crapper?

My worse one is not watching the Clarets go marching on to Europe and then four holidays having to be cancelled.

I should have been dining out in one of Madrid's finest eateries tonight, and catching the train to Barcelona tomorrow morning. It's frustrating but I can't say it's breaking my heart. Mrs S is taking it less well, she's really got t'monk on about it. Fortunately for it's sake, we don't have a cat.

    Initially, wiping my arse.

You will be relieved to learn that this situation has now been resolved.

I should've been sailing New Zealand to Fiji about now, then on to Vanuatu, New Caledonia and Australia; c'est la vie.
