The finances are not there for the majority of clubs to continue and like the Port Vale owner said they could have gone up via the play offs but the future of the club is more important.

All I want is for us to have a chance at the play offs and i'd consider that fair and so would our owners.
Right. The one major obstacle to that scenario appears to be those threatened with relegation. Stevenage are right to point out that they could have saved themselves and overtaken Macc. That should not impact on the number of clubs going up from the NL however, cutting short the season is one thing, changing the rules as to how many go up and come down is another, a step too far. The interests of Stevenage should not trump the rights of several other clubs willing to proceed in the true spirit of the game. So how do you compromise? I think they have to consider play-off at the other end of the table.

If everybody was happy with a League Two North and South and that idea really is being taken seriously then great, surely every club in the NL would vote for it, but presumably L2 clubs would have an initial vote on it and I'm not sure you'd get a majority of them agreeing to it. Would we all become members of The Football League, resign on mass from the NL or would it be some kind of joint administration? How would that work?

one of the rumours going round at present is that Macclesfield are going to get a further points deduction putting them below Stevenage. Should that happen Macclesfield would be relegated and eventually end up in National League North (as Boston did when they came down) due to not meeting NL financial rules. That could be key to all this in 2 ways - 1) it would ensure the 2 up from the NL and 2) if they go down to NLN then that would leave space in the NL for both the PPG champions of the NLN and NLS without relegating any teams from the NL - or 2 would come up from NLN and NLS and only Chorley and AFC Fylde (who seam as unpopular with Notts fans as they are with Barrow fans) would need to get relegated.

There will be relegation in all the divisions the FA have confirmed this.

I agree PPG is not great but if you dont play how else are you going to solve the positions ? The only other option is the table stays as it is now.

None of us of want this in an ideal world we play the 46 games.

What will happen going forward is a rule will be put in place if anything like this happens again to stop teams moaning.

Not in any way relevant to us but Scotland FA have done what’s needed to be done up there. Hearts relegated from the Scottish Premiership. Celtic are champions.
The FA in this country need to tell the Premiership, EFL and National League what is happening. Instead the 3 Leagues are muddling there way through.

Celtic were champions before a ball was kicked.

I listened to recording of radio 5 live 606 from Sunday this morning.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/sounds/play/m000j96w

From 6.41 in there is a discussion on what should happen at the bottom of L2, all the participants were for Stevenage to be relegated and what a mess the EFL were making, a Notts supporter named Johnny called in putting our case.

If 19/20 is completely voided , who should take Burys place in the 92?

Barrow as they are top of National league?..Notts as they were best placed relegated side in 18/19? Fylde as they lost the promotional play off final in 2019 ? or Solihull as they were runners up in the league 2019. All have viable cases

Mansfield and Newport could also argue that they should be placed in league one as they finished fourth and lost the play off finals in league 2 respectively.

No league is getting voided it is that simple.

Void means the season didnt happen which causes huge financial problems in terms of ticket money, tv contracts, players bonus for promotion etc.

PPG is the way all the leagues will go down to division 6.

I think you've answered your own question there. If 2019/20 is completely voided, Barrow have no more right than Chorley to be promoted.
The only two options are for Notts to take Bury's place or for nobody to take Bury's place.
