Man City have a sponsorship deal with MarathonBet. Can't see this being an issue at all. This deal will probably have an option to cancel anytime plus I haven't read it state its a shirt sponsorship deal.

How much would it cost the Saudi's to undo that sponsorship deal, it's chicken feed for them, they'd find that kind of money down the side of their couch.

The way everyone is going on you would think Ashley negotiated it yesterday. I would put money in it being an automatic extension that was probably agreed ages ago.
It will have a get out for a small fee in the event of in this case a takeover.

Yes this must be the case. These deals are negotiated carefully and not the sort of thing either party can jump into or out of at a whim. They are serious financial contracts and that's where Fatty's hands were tied from time to time when he couldn't get his childish, petulant way.

I read somewhere on a Toon group that this was actually all sorted out in Feb and it was up to Fun888 to release the info.

I also think this is probably a rolling contract for a year.

As has said, all the usual stuff has to happen at the end of the season as if the takeover wasn't going to happen.

I have read that buying Nufc is more difficult as Ashley has split the business into 22 different companies to syphon off Nufc money.

Aye, I read that. I suspect that's not the reason but don't doubt that the greedy, fat bastard has done that.

And to think that he used to be defended on here!
