    perhaps indeed!
if you compare to man Citeh Sheiks consortium this takeover bid is ****e! yes i know its dissapointing but at the end of the day you are better off with that Kant Ash,
Portsmouth could tell you how well that went!
Am not saying you lot could have it better but at what price?
we have owners who are basically scavengers at best, most important is Club identity at the end of the day, we have successfully lost most of ours
becareful what you wish for, you are still a Prem team!
stay safe and be lucky now

THAT is the problem John mate.
Every single one of us can see the trend and know full well, in 9 months time, we will not be a prem team!

Ashley had a manager in place that we loved but wouldn't let him have the say on transfers.

Brought in a manager that we didnt want, paid club record fee for a player the last manager didnt rate, the lad couldnt hit a cows arse with a shovel. We had to rely massively on loans last season just to be able to field a fit 11 each week.

This season we will regress even further and we all know we had a huge chunk of luck with results. Conceding posession 85% - 15% at home in games .

I'd rather take the chance on the Saudi's

you are most probably right, its a shame when potential owners come in that would move the club forward only to to fail on some transparency rule few understand!
regardless of new owners you are regarded by most all clubs as a Great traditional Football club!

John, you're always good crack on here mate but honestly, we've been run like pub team for years - "Dummet's hungover; Ritchie, you just fill in at left back fellah, there's a couple of pints behind the bar for ya after the game" etc.etc.

Don't need to read it to agree with you and know you are correct.
