    Clarke Odour & Apo Halme

Yo lads, wot if anything do you remember about these two kids who we signed from your club last year ?.
(Malik Wilkes was another one as well, but hes totally irrelevant now, because he chose to goto Hull and go down with that stinky fishy mob).

Clarke scored the memorable late winner for us at Brentford which kept us up, and it probably meant an extra four or five million quid for us this season. And Apo did score a few for us as well during the season, and they also proved to be vit*al goals.
Did you offer them owt to stay at the time, or were they just looking for first team action anywhere else ?.

Like Oz, I saw Halme play and whilst he looked a little overawed at times (couple of howlers in defence), as a youngster coming into a top flight Championship team he performed well. don't know why Bielsa didn't take to him, but there you go. No real recollection of the other two. Nothing I saw when Halme left indicated we made any efforts to keep him (quite the reverse I imagine, once it was determined he didn't "fit"), but I hope he and the others do ok for you.

Halme always looked a decent player and was highly rated by the youth coaches - think we had more Bielsa type players coming through the ranks so he was let go. Hope he does well for you and he always seems to speak well too.

Wilks always looked promising but I think there was mention of him thinking he was big time before he had properly arrived.

odour is versatile can do all the left side, he was behind davis at leftback though so was allowed to go to you, halme was behind struijk so again same thing really, wilks was behind roberts so again was allowed to leave, mowatt i think was let go to you as hes a bit slow but a very good midfielder, great left foot and a good passer ands set piece taker, any other former leeds players on your books?

Was surprised Halme was allowed to leave along with a couple of others, whom seemed to be showing decent potential.

Do remember thinking it was perhaps more about trimming our wage bill more than anything else. Not saying they were on huge money or anything but it was still money saved that could be used elsewhere.

We can be sooks in here me included but how sooky are Leeds agreeing to buy a player after a loan and now crying out loud?
How would other teams do deals with us like that in the future after this?

Not disagreeing with what is "honourable", just questioning the competence of whoever did the deal.
