3-O loss that unusual against a London side . We never had one shot . Sibley Lawrence Bogle nowhere to be seen I just wonder

Team: Marshall, Wisdom, te Wierik, Forsyth, Buchanan, Bird, Shinnie, Rooney, Knight, Whittaker, Marriott.

Team from 60th minute: Ravas, Bogle, Solomon, Davies, Lowe, Evans, Ibrahim, Bennett, Shonibare, Hector-Ingram, Marriott (Stretton 75’).

Derby's best effort of the 1st half was from a 25 yard Rooney low free kick which was saved by the keeper.

Derby's best effort of the 2nd half came from a Mason Bennett curler which was tipped wide by the Bees keeper.

I get the impression from the lack of further info on the club site that the word "best" in both of the above paragraphs could be replaced with "only decent".

It’s become a Derby tradition to lose 3-0 to Brentford hasn’t it?

Shouldn’t worry too much...plenty of changes before the season starts, just a run out for two XI’s and at least Marriott managed 75 mins.

RA I've just watched the highlights ,Only pre season I know but the difference in their fitness levels and ours was amazing . Half our team had to many Covid calories especially Marriott and Rooney that's poor for professionals Obviously the defending was very dodgy ,although for the goals defensive midfield went AWOL as per usual The third goal was the usual one we concede playing square across your own box ,we never learn

How can Marriott be unfit? He's had nothing to do but prove his fitness. Disappointing.

Adi he's carrying a stone to much I know he's had an operation, but it's a lack of professionalism to me .They get everything done for them all they have to do is eat and drink properly Perhaps I'm being to critical but after watching a good proportion of today's match on Ramplayer I was amazed at the difference in fitness levels of the two squads
