Sorry my opinion doesn't match yours or am I not allowed an opinion? Are you just another Shedka?

I don't want us to spend £100k loaning a player that I don't think is worth it..... IMO
Did you even read the post? See the bit I mentioned about opinion? Wee bit menstrual don't you think?

You said if we were to follow my way of thinking then we'd bounce back down again? Therfore inferring that I lack ambition for my team yeah? because I don't want sign a player
on loan for silly money that I don't think is worth it so IMO I don't think I'm being unambitious, I think I'm being quite the opposite IMO of course.

And that as you say is your opinion. Mine differs. Most people agree we are going to need to bring in some quality, that won't be free. It's your opinion he's not good enough, but it's not exactly a common opinion.

I have no problem with the fact I'm in the minority re Safranko and if he signs then he'll get backed by me just like any other player in tangerine but it irks me a bit that MM couldn't get us a gem of a forward from his experiences in the English lower leagues. Maybe the timing is wrong just now for obvious reasons.

I think Norwood fits that bill, but will also not come cheap and is a big injury concern. No doubts he can hit the back of the net though. I just want a good team on the park and am happy to let the owner worry about the finances. Yes that's bitten us hard before but what's the alternative?

Agree ,we struggle financially to compete with the likes of Fleetwood, Burton Albion etc nowadays for players. The days of us buying players from Dalglish's Liverpool for £100,000 are well in the past.

Jesus, and we remember how that one worked out.

    Let’s. Not. Go. There.

Why would he have to cost anything?

MM has spent years down there in the lower leagues.

Do you think he knows nothing of what is down there?

Don't think Jon Daly cost much or anything at all?

My main concern here is not so much the individual but our track record of returning players. In recent times I’m thinking of the likes of Billy Dodds, Paul Dixon, Willo Flood, Jimmy Gomis, David Goodwillie, etc etc, all of whom were shadows of their former selves in their returning stints. Hopefully Safranko is the exception that proves the rule.
