Mac simple answer we play slow , sideways, boing, walking football . The last time I saw us play well and be entertained was home game against Fulham and I can't even remember when that was .

Oh Rob you wouldn't wish him on us would you His football make Cocus luck acceptable We need a manager with some enthusiasm and passion We all know the problems Cocu has had to endure but we are going backwards rapidly . Paul Cook available he's had to put up with far more than Cocu . Never seen him downbeat always positive if you look at the 13players who have just left Wigan they are all his ,some excellent players there even gone to Prem clubs . He would get more out of our youngsters than Cocu imo

Tbh, mista. If Cocu were to go, which I doubt, I think Paul Cook would be an excellent replacement.
Can’t think of anyone better and available...and certainly not NC.

Nooooooooooooo! Cook would be a good option but hey we are for the moment stuck with Cocu, got to hope he turns things around but I fear, slow defensive hesitant is his style, seems to me the players can't or won't adapt to it.

at least we'd only have to change two letters on the club manager tracksuit if we hired him

Yes RA you are right we can't afford to sack him and his staff . I thought Rosenior was a good appointment at the time ,but I'm not sure how .He had only been an assistant U23 coach at Brighton ,but step up to first team coach in the Championship . Somebody text me to watch the Luton match again in Rams Tv he has a lot of heated words with Clarke on the touch line ,probably explains why he didn't start yesterday . Yes I would love to have Paul Cook knows the Championship inside out and always so positive

One also has to question Rooney's worth? I'm sure he knows a lot about football but a master tactician and motivator?

‘Mac and Powell’? It’s at least 15 years since McClaren did anything as a manager...when he was at Boro’. Okay...he gave us our most fondly remembered ‘recent’ season, in 2013-14, but that’s seven years ago now. We had eight happy months that ended in heartbreak, and he’s achieved nothing since except behave in a way which made him unemployable at Derby.

Where Chris Powell comes into it I don’t know. Fine player but totally unproven as a manager and will probably only ever be an assistant or a summariser.

Now you want to blame Morris. Why? Can’t think of how any owner could have backed the club more completely. Who would have thought we’d have made the signings we have over the summer with, quite probably, at least one more to come?

If we’d been deducted points because of the way the club has been run I’d be inclined to agree with you. That would have been down to the ownership. But we haven’t...yet...and Morris continues to dig deep in his pockets at an enormously difficult time for all football clubs.

I’m sure he’s at least as disappointed as you or I but I don’t see how he’s to blame for our recent catalogue of disasters or the failings of players and managers.

Let’s keep a sense of perspective. Having a nil point return from our first three matches is horrible...but it’s just three matches.
Hands up all those who think Everton will win the Premier League...exactly! It’s early days and blaming Morris makes no sense, imo.
Do you not remember him coming back with Powell as his coach? Don't know why Morris sacked him. Morris then brought in Rowett and Lampard, I can't remember if Pearson was involved in this period or before. Sacked Rowett, and Lampard tore us apart. Each manager wanting their own thing, and Lampard being especially poor.

Short sighted repetitive poor decision making. Cocu deserves a chance in my book, but Morris has been a long term **** up.

He's a striker who thinks he's a midfielder. Confused at best
