    Things look bleak

Thought this merited it’s own thread

Been Comparing results with last year
    We beat Soton h -3
    Lost to Leicester a - 0
    Lost to Newcastle a -0
    WBA +1
    Drew with a Spurs -1
    Lost to Chelsea 0
and Lost to Man U So any point we get From them is a bonus

So at present we are down 3 points (depending which relegated team we use)

With Only 7 more points to come From last years results Plus Leeds

We drew with Brighton a +1
We lost to Palace h 0
We lost to Man City a 0
    Beat Everton h +3
    Lost to Arsenal a 0
    Drew Villa a +1
    Drew Wolves a +1
    Leeds h ?
Drew with Sheff Utd h +1

Things look bleak - how did we get 47 points last year???

Hopefully the best is yet to come?.

Things are bleak OC and I see no sunshine anytime soon.

We might beat the Seagulls and Palarse though!

2018/19 season after 15 games we had 9 points, in fact, at the halfway stage of the season we had just 12 points after 19 matches.
There are still 96 points available to the Clarets and nobody knows what will transpire.

After 7 games last season Bournemouth were in 8th place with 11 points, just 3 points behind 3rd placed Leicester, however, after 19 matches they had dropped down the table and just had 20 points. It is a long season whichever way you look at it.

We need to BT. Life has been periods or feast and famine and turning points Tom Heaton coming back and Nick Pope penalty save.
    Hope Ben’s return is another

What’s the point of comparing last season with this season.? It’s all irrelevant now. It’s what happens from now on in, is what matters ,isn’t it ?

I was looking through my 2019 diary and it said we lost 4 on the bounce in March, but we bounced right back!

Can't see us doing it again though.

As Thomas Fuller once said, and Mama Cass once sang, 'the darkest hour is just before dawn'. I think a prayer or two might help as well.

Of course it’s going forward that matters, mal, but we got 47 points last year and so far we are only 3 points worse off had we played the games last year in this years order. Going forward we would only have had another 7 points by New Year had those results last year happened in the same order. So we must have got 37 points last year from the fixtures that follow. I doubt we will get that again, but hope we get enough to stay up

    Good analysis there OC.

We just need to get that first win to lift the gloom.
