Thank **** for that! Ok final confirmation awaits and no doubt the "bad loser" Trump will moan and try to throw **** around but thats one less threat to the world removed.

Exactly! Saved my week. The world is a better and safer place. Might take a while for such news to filter through to the gun lobby though!

Now all we have to look forward to is Kay Burley interviewing every American in Washington who voted for Biden

Don't speak to soon, that looney has still got his finger on the button for another 2 months. I hope to god that the yanks have some safeguards in place.

I would guess they have and the Republican party are already starting to distance themselves. Biden has got to consider why so many voted for the prat though, similar to here and Brexit/Johnson, more must be done for those left behind and that might mean some fiscal pain to tose better off.

More pertinent long term is to consider how many republicans DIDN'T vote for him, precisely because he was/is a prat. Mrs F was texting a friend (no not a two headed redneck, a VP of a pretty big company) in NC last eve who voted democrat last time and this, but will only do so next time if Trump or one of his brood run. My guess (only) is that there is a significant cohort of such folks who voted Trump out rather than Biden in, and will revert next time, unless Biden pulls some bloody fat rabbits out of the hat. A bit like UK TBH, although politics reversed

Its a point, though the turnout was huge and the biggest vote for a president ever, so who knows really. I mean they call the Democrats socialist's, but they are on a par with so called "one nation" Tories. A decade or more ago they kind of forgot the middle class blue collar vote, which is where Trump scored and still does.

The big worry is that 75 million human beings think that Trump is fit to be the President of the most powerful country in the world!
    Shudders at the thought!!

You should take far more care who you listen to.
