Ad scrap all technology and all the recent rule changes except red/yellow cards to signal to fans wot decision wo. A whistle, watch, coin, cards, notebook(unless tha writes on back of card) and pencil are all tha needs

If the ref or linesman gets it wrong it's summat to talk abart, part of football.

Handball is when tha deliberately handles it with intent--wots all this arsing abart mekkin an unnatural body shape silhouette ?. Linesman puts his flag up straightaway fo offside--wots all this arsing abart waiting ?

Yep strange football world we live in now SB, glad my interest in the game has waned , spending more time in the garden, book reading cooking nice meals etc on a weekend. If I could get sky sports news on a deal without all the live football on Sky and BT and keep my rugby and cricket would do it - unbelievable Jeff

That VAR has me in stitches , that goal of Bamford's which was ruled offside because his arm was off because he was pointing where he wanted the ball played was a fecking joke ........ mind you lol !!!

They can keep that VAR for me in the PL , don't even fecking think about it in the Championship .

Its crap to watch, causes too much controversy, even more controversy than before it came in. It should be used with the intention it was introduced to begin with- to help referees correct clear and obvious mistakes. Its instead used to nit pick and its tiresome.

I cant stand the shyte to be honest. They've had problems with it for 16 months nar since it was introduced to the Premiership and like I say, it's been a major talking point. I can't tek to it and its time it was scrapped unless they use it in the spirit it was intended. Its had a fair old crack of the whip and been a failure imo.

That liverpool 'handball' today had the commentary team banging on abart it for 10 minutes while the game was going on. Annoying to say the least.

Masters golf next week. Roll on Thursday

It's time to get rid of it, spoiling the game even more than it was.
Bamford was right when he said "I can't score a goal with my hand so what difference does it make if my hands offside"?
Football decisions are dependant on who is making the decision, If they are going to keep it there is a referee on the pitch and he should make the call, if he is unsure ask the video ref to take a look, NOT make a decision then be overuled by someone watching a monitor!
Like SB said it's a talking point for fans and pundits afterwards, sometimes we will agree and sometimes we won't that's what made this game great to start with.
As for these commentators whether it be radio or TV they start talking about an incident or something that happened similar in a game 2 weeks ago and bang on about it for 10 minutes, then realise that they need to update us on what we have missed whilst they have been prattling on.........unbelievable Jeff!!

They use VAR to find any excuse to disallow well worked goals, then use it to give the most ridiculous penalties & sending offs.
How can you disallow goals like Bamford's and Henderson's winner against Everton, then award penalties for Salah against West Ham & Kane against Brighton? Not to mention some of the barmy hand ball decisions.
They say players are being clever, they're not, the refs are being made mugs.
Yes Salah got kicked, but barely. He put his foot down as though he hadn't been touched, squealed like a girl, then launched himself.
Harry Kane checked where Lallana was, backed into him and waited for contact.
Neither of them were goal scoring opportunities yet they get a free shot from 12 yards.
It goes right through the leagues now.
I've seen plenty this season where the cross is sailing 10 yards over everybody's heads and the forward takes a chance and goes sprawling.
More often than not they get a pen. If they don't, nothing lost.
If they're going to start giving such soft decisions they need to start awarding free kicks unless it's a genuine goal scoring chance.
It's painful to watch, but the kids love it. It's all they know.
If Salah or Kane had pulled that trick against Roy Keane, they'd need a police escort from the ground.
