    At this rate...

    ... we’re going to be fighting a relegation battle. I just don’t think McPake can cut it. There clearly are financial constraints around changing management at this point, but it might be that those constraints need to be balanced against the possibility of spending the season in the bottom 4 - which I think is looking increasingly likely.

    I kind of get the impression that McPake was hoping that having Charlie would bail him out, but that’s not going to be the case.

    Think there is more going on with finance and job security. They took a pay cut, must have been some negotiation. When Dorrans left perhaps that was the finger being pulled out of the dam. Getting in a new CB must have undermined the whole defensive squad. Playing a back 4 with a midfield that seems to lack pace, It seems we are low on confidence too.

    The shambolic goals we concede are what undermines the defensive squad.
