Crewe boss David Artell has confirmed the club have rejected a bid from Blackburn for full-back Harry Pickering.

The Alex are loath to lose the 22-year-old, who has been standing in as captain of late, and felt Rovers’ bid fell short of their valuation.

Wonder if he’ll do us a favour if we’re after him

So much for the Blades love in
    Probably down to cash though

Sheffield United left-back Rhys Norrington-Davies is close to joining Stoke City on loan, with him set to become the seventh Welsh player in Michael O’Neill’s ranks.

The 21-year-old has been recalled from his loan spell with Luton, but looks set to leave Bramall Lane immediately, with an agreement between Sheffield United and Stoke said to be close.

Has many will know that David Hirst ex-Wednesday player is the father of our on loan player George Hirst.

Remembering David Hirst nickname when at Wednesday, due to him having injury problems, his nickname was Ta*pax, in for a week, out for 3 weeks.

Or they might think he’s worth having a good look at to put an offer at end of season

I thought we may have one for this lad

Hibernian have confirmed the signing of Australian international midfielder Jackson Irvine, subject to international clearance.

The 27-year-old has agreed a contract until the end of the season and joined up with his new team-mates ahead of Saturday’s Premiership head-to-head with Kilmarnock.

Preston North End are believed to have had a seven figure sum accepted for Doncaster Rovers 24 year old midfielder Ben Whiteman, the fee stated is £1.5 million.
With transfer fees being high, like this & Barnsley paying £500,000 for a defender from Forest Green, what chance have the Millers in keeping a regular place in the championship, unless the club relax the purse strings a bit.
