You can only mitigate risk to a degree. Risk CANNOT be eliminated.

The passport thing sounds unworkable IMO and, in general, just sounds like a pain in the arse for everyone - for very little gain in terms of where we are with vaccination and mortality rates.
It's not uncommon, but the chances of contracting and spreading covid is far higher amongst those who are unvaccinated. Agreed risk cannot be eliminated whilst under 16's arent being vaccinated but it can be minimised. I'm happy showing proof of vaccination and will feel a lot more comfortable knowing those around me are vaccinated.

I think this policy is an effort to get those that are most commonly in the unvaccinated (but could be) group to get the jabs.

My son was telling me that he has seen Celtic supporters who refused the vaccine trying to sell their season books online which cheered me right up.This is gonna be a massive pain in the erse for the old firm so i'm right behind it.

There are people that have been double vaccinated that had Covid before their vaccinations last year contracted it again.

There are no hard and fast rules . There are folk that have never showed symptoms or tested positive, yet when tested for antibodies the results showed Covid in their system.

It is a total nightmare for the folk being asked to categorise it ......

Only good thing is , that it seems if you are vaccinated, if you do get it, you will survive. That has to be a good thing

Truly staggering that 1 in 45 people in Scotland have the virus, its a new record number of cases and as well as being top of the charts in the UK i suspect we are near the top of the league in europe to boot.

I personally know people who are fully vaccinated and since had Covid. But the fact is, by figures i heard a couple of weeks ago, 58% of new cases were in people who had not been vaccinated.

Unvaccinated 11 times more likely to die from COVID-19 infections

yeah and seems that younger folk double vaccinated are getting it more - clearly because of nightclubs and openings etc but symptoms likely to be milder. The figure i saw was hospitalised serious cases of covid were at 80+% of non vaccinated (ie not one jab).
