I don’t know of anyone who thought him staying would be an outcome

Is Cormack buying himself time to get a replacement (which should have been in the pipeline before now). If so he has just alienated a large section of the support who were giving him the benefit of the doubt that he was an upgrade to S Milne

Lot of talk that Cormack was wanting to sack Goodwin but Milne convinced him not to.
