A bit like Wood, firing blanks.

Either his confidence is shot or he lacks that PL quality but he showed much more guile today then any of our other strikers. Some lovely one touch passing but the final ball or shot was just not there.

I am seeing people raving all over about him? What am I missing?

He was alright today. His first touch was slightly better than it has been but he never looked like scoring.
His creation was OK and he can outjump his size to win aeriel challenges outside the box but doesn't do the same in the box.
When he misses he carries on sitting on his arse looking dejected and exasperated when he should be back up and at em again.

Listen I thought he had a decent game today and really hope he comes good but apart from that superb goal against Southampton last season there has not been a lot else to get all hot and sweaty about.

This is why Vydra himself was worried about not getting enough match time, he's losing his edge and he thinks he may get dropped from the national team.

    .

only caught the first half - I think he gives that little extra for the opposition to think about....and it shows on team forums, he gets a mention toward the positive...few others do, Pope perhaps.

Vydra has the one thing Defenders don't like - Pace. He brightens up our forward line.

Personally thought he did really well today , he’d have been better with Jay as he’s just a cleverer footballer than Barnes and more mobile.

Doesn’t seem like Dyche fancies giving them two a run together though like end of last season

They did well against Fulham, that should have given him food for thought.
