Happy with a point (in the end) I honestly can't remember a match where we have had SO many easy free crosses (high and low) in to our box. Horrendous. Their wider players weren't even trying anything fast or clever , just continually pumping unmarked crosses across the face of our goal.

We were lucky to get a draw there. Connolly comes on, they start getting unmarked headers in the box ( due to the change in formation maybe) then he does his usual slip on your arse when in possession routine.

Lets just blame the whole shebang on the Astroturf

Sporle going off upset the balance long before that, we were poor from that point until the last 10 minutes when we had 3 decent chances. Its another point on Coonty at least, top 6 gone so let's concentrate on finishing 7th which would still make for a good season.

That was very poor again. Why does he keep persisting with either Clark or McNulty, they bring nothing to the game.

Aperre needs to be able to use his physique much more and without Fuchs the midfield dos not function.
Sorry, you can't be blaming the manager for that today! Simply a few boys failed to show up. Appere has never had a worse game for us and McNulty anonymous. Not easy when an injury 20 odd minutes in. Appere will have better days. Think McNulty isn't that interested.

Fair play to Tommy Wright and Killie. They bullied us all game. More streetwise than us throughout and left Mellon with no choice about Fuchs. Amazingly we can look back at two good chances that would have won it late on.

A point when playing badly is still progress mind you. Shame we won't make top 6 now, but lts not get too down. A bad day at the office performance wise. Reaction next week and we will beat Celtic at a "full" Tannadice

With regards top six not what we wanted with the other scores but we were not favourites anyway

However a 1-1 away is just fine with regards staying in the league, 7pts from last 9 against the three opponents not named Sevco

Few things didn't go for us with Sporle injury when he had started well etc

Today was a ‘hopefully win’ but ‘must not lose’. We achieved the latter. Which is fine. The gap to the bottom three is maintained and the games are running out fast. IMHO Killie are in deep schit.

A point considering the 4-0 the last time is ok, but Killie were poor! We did well until Fuchs got himself one tackle away from a red, and i for the life of me cant understand why we went to 5 at the back and surrendered midfield in one easy subbie!

When i was watching that though, the overriding feeling that the life is being sucked right out of football because of the utterly sh!t standard of referees!

County v Killie next week, Hamilton v St John midweek, I can see Accies get something in that as think Saints will have a cup final hangover.

Yeah think the bottom 3 will need to win 4 more games than we do. With games running out and teams to play each other thats unlikely.

Correct. They were pressurising the ref for anything and everything from the first minute and Fuchs was going to walk the way it was going. However bringing on Connolly was a real WTF? moment. Making the subby was the correct call but keep the shape for goodness sake. From that point on, all of a sudden our assuredness at the back was gone and we were back hiding behind the sofa every time the crosses came in............
