Was that when your players had to pay the bar tab after the company credit card was declined? 🤣

Stenson, I've heard them all where my shower is concerned, you yourself throwing more than your fair share. However, at the time you was very sure of Derbys secure financial position and Mad Mels business accumen.
    The dice rolls many ways.

I'm glad you think so, Stenson, I cant share your enthusiasm I'm afraid. I'd say we were mired in the **** of being a cash drain on an owner who has had enough and wants out, coupled with being in a deadly embrace with buyers who can't get the cash together to buy us, let alone support us if they do manage to buy us. The purchase price must be falling daily, although Mel presumably has a bottom line: but he's in no position to negotiate as every day brings more bills to pay and no/reduced revenue to pay them with.

We are relying on "something good will happen" wish money at the moment. Even if we avoid the drop on the field, If this standstill doesn't sort itself out before the season ends, then we could easily do a Bolton/Wigan or even a Bury. And still no 30 June 2019 accounts in sight almost 12 months past their original due date........

On the bright side, Mel has committed to funding the club until such time as a deal is finalised.

We are clearly in the ****e financially. I really can't see the takeover going ahead.
