Well it’s my wife’s 65th birthday and the Millers win. I recorded the game and am still sat up watching Freddie’s winner over and over again.

After 5 straight defeats I was a little dispirited. Well it’s a good job our team isn’t.

What I would like to see from all this now is everyone getting behind our team 100%.

For one brief moment my confidence went but not again. Magnificent to a man.Trust in our management.

We are all Rotherham aren’t we. We can do this, but get that appeal in for Smith. Another ref that nearly cost us the game.

On the subject of the thread, my song choice to the tune of the Wombles of Wimbledon common:

    Underground overground Womberling thru
The wombles of Sheffield Wednesday are you.
Making good use of the players that you find
Players that the every day teams leave behind.

    Dads Army :

Who do you think you are kidding Sheffield Wednesday?
If you think you’ve got us on the run.
We are the boys who have stopped your little game
We are the boys who have beaten you again
So who do you think you are kidding Sheffield Wednesday
If you think the Toy Towns done.

Who put the ball in the Wednesday net? Freddie, Freddie.
Who put the ball in the Wednesday net, Freddie Ladapo.
    Freddie Ladapo, Freddie Ladapo.
Who put the ball in the Wednesday net? Freddie Ladapo!
My upstairs neighbours here in NYC are a little confused by my hours of singing this!

IBS....try this out to the same tune.

'Rotherham United's our name and football is our game,
11 men down to 10 but on and on we played,
The Ref did all he could, he sent Smithy off, but we were too good,
Weds tried to their plight but we could see that they were really s.hite,

The night we sent Sheff Weds down and all the Millers were singing,
The night we sent Sheff Weds down and all the Millers were singing,
They sang na na na na na na , na na na na na na na na narrrrr'

Feel free to add the second chorus

Already done one for the first verse:
    'Virgil Kane is the name
And I served on the Danville train
    'Till Stoneman's cavalry came
And tore up the tracks again
    In the winter of '65
We were hungry, just barely alive
By May the 10th, Richmond had fell
It's a time I remember, oh so well'

    Freddie L is my name
I’m as quick as an express train
last minute goals is my game
    I did at Sheffield again
    In the winter of ’21
the dee-dars had just about gone
On March 4th they finally fell
It’s a night I will remember oh so well

The night we sent Sheff Wednesday down
    All the Millers were singing
The night we sent Sheff Wednesday down
    All the Millers were singing
They went, "Na, na, la, na, na, la"

love it IBS. Maybe we are being premature saying 'sent Sheff Weds down' maybe we should swap that to shot them down. All the same a great effort by yourself........all together now......
