True but in the end its what we do that matters. I thought we might need more than 50 points a week or so ago but with how cov and brum and the pigs have gone into decline i think 50 may do it especially if we still have a decent gd.so 6 more wins out of 14 not ridiculous if we can get players back.

One of things the EFL will want to avoid is for some teams to have completed their season and us to have 2 or 3 games left.

Points are likely to still be crucial for us but the opposition could be just going through the paces with nothing to play for

Good point Grist. Imagine where a lot of teams around us either lose or have drawn their games dropping loads of points making it a tad easier for us to play catch up. 4/5 games to go and we only need a point for safety, we go all out and get the point.

The last games are pointless and we don't give a damn about the outcome if we have secured retention in the Championship. However, other teams still to play us are battling for a play off position, do we:

    1. Just play the youngsters allowing the game to be dominated by the other side who easily win?
    2. Go all out to spoil their day by drawing or even beating them?
    3. Risk a fine by fielding a weakened side?

Be so nice to be in that dominating position......
