Match Thread vs. Halifax Town 09.03.21 [NL]

After an empty weekend we finally have a match to look forward to and following the disappointment of the late concession costing us two points last time out, we need a big reaction from the players tonight to get our promotion push back into top gear. COYP!

Team news around 6.45pm. Match stream pass available to purchase here

What lineup do we all expect to see tonight? I wonder if we'll see any of the new boys start or make the bench...

Possibly two new appearances tonight. With 20 mins to go - Ellis if we are losing or Knight if we are winning. (Or perhaps the other way round)

Looks promising to me. Richardson starts, Ellis on the bench.

A start for Knowles too! Could this be a simple 4-4-2 perhaps?

The same midfield that failed so miserably last match. Well, I suppose they can only improve!

A breather for one of our most consistent performers and as you were otherwise . I wouldn't say that looked promising personally but we will see. At least Effiong isn't even on the bench.

    Good to see Knowles selected.

Doyle and Reeves need to improve.

Think Rodrigues is lucky to start. Sam instead?

If it is a simple 4-4-2 I wouldn't complain. I just hope it doesn't turn into the 8-0-2 formation we sometimes adopt. There should be goals in that line-up, so let's take the game to them.

I also think Barnett is lucky to keep his place. But you always knew that DKE would be the one to be left out, Ardley was forever going on about him playing too many games without a rest. I just wish he would have took the same stance with Doyle..
