Thread: Too late to sack Bruce?

    Too late to sack Bruce?

Is it too late to sack Bruce? The last 2 times we got relegated we sacked our manger with around 8 matches to go and it didn’t work even Rafa couldn’t save us. Maybe just maybe we should stick this time?

I can’t see anyone coming in and turning it around to be honestly.

    Yes....and no.

Yes, I think it's too late but no, I don't think we should stick with him.

There is not one reasonable excuse anyone can use to defend him-he absolutely deserves the sack and whether we are going down or not, he should lose his job (but especially if we go down)

Ashley will never appoint anyone like Rafa again, IF bruce goes, it will be Jones who takes over.

We may as well get rid now and give Jones a chance to get some ideas across and try something new before the championship starts. He may have some targets in mind that wont cost the earth.

Rumour has it, we still dont have relegation clauses inserted into our contracts. So this means a fire sale or another Ashley loan

It’s not too late, no. We’re not in the bottom 3 yet and with new manager bounce we could be fine. Even with Jones IMO.
One thing’s for sure the club is frozen in the headlights of relegation fast approaching. If it stands still and does nothing it will be run over. If it jumps (ie. makes a change) there is at least a chance pf escaping.

    I don't think it's to late either.

If we get a new manager bounce even if its only a few extra points, could be worth it.

Plus, Bruce has made the squad toxic to each other, hopefully a new manager could heal that.

Agree that Ashley won't ever get someone like Rafa again though.

    We do...we really do.

    2 wins in 19.

    But we won't.

Joe Cole has just said we've got the right man for the job.

What, actually, is the fucking point.

It will never be too early or late to sack Bruce. Even if it is halftime during the last game of the season, the sooner he is off the premises the better it will be for the team.

I think his presence is just a huge negativity on the players and they wouldn't play any worse even if there wasn't a manager in the dugout.

I bet he didn't elaborate as to how hes the best man for the job.
It's clear to everyone that he's not up to the job.

    What job?

If he means the job of helping us escape relegation then how can you say that when he’s been the manager since the start of the season and, therefore, led us into this situation?

Another incredible comment suggesting that our current predicament is somehow someone else’s fault!!?!

One more ‘pundit’ who comes to ‘work’ without having thought about what they will comment on.
