Probably not I was reliably informed he will be working a 4 day week here. Family remaining in Glasgow. A well known ex-don enquired about a west end property on his behalf over the weekend.

I don’t know who your source is but at least some, and possibly all, of that isn’t true.

    He's never lived in Glasgow.

Wednesday lunchtime and we've still not signed anyone.

    GK - Lewis, Woods
    RB - Ramsay
    CB - Gallagher, Considine
    LB - McKenzie
CM - Brown, Ferguson, McCrorie, McGeouch, Ojo, Campbell, Virtanen
Wingers - Hedges, Kennedy, McLennan, McGinn, Hayes
    ST - Thomas, Ruth

I've probably forgotten some, but that seems to be the squad we have at the moment. Incredibly thin defensively and up front, overrun by midfielders, and a load of (mainly hopeless) wingers. I'm still struggling to work out what formation it was Glass was playing, other than it was 4 at the back. 4132 or 4123 or maybe 4141.

As much as we need to bring more bodies in, we also need to offload the likes of Ojo, Kennedy and McLennan, and probably shed another midfielder or two as well.

    1 experienced full back required
    1 experienced centre back required
    (plus 1 development centre back)
    1 star winger required
    1 star no10 required
    1 star striker required
    1 experienced striker required
    (plus 1 development striker)

6 first team players and 2 squad players required

If we get those signings we can afford to shed quite a few of the existing pool either permanent or loaned out.

edit to say weve also backed ourselves in to a corner that ideally the experienced players need to be under 30

    I’m against this.

All this pant pishin about signing players in their thirties is a bit OTT.
Aye Brown is 34 but JET and Gallagher have just turned 30 and 30mis hardly over the hill for a footballer, not ideal in the long term but maybe Glass is just steadying the ship and those older players will help the youngsters
