That would be fine if they went down and took the place of the big six down there and saved english football from obscurity.

    Fk Gary Neville.

Only reason he lost it there is because of the financial losses he could lose as an owner of a lower league club.

Tottenham and Arsenal probably only got asked because Bayern and PSG rejected it and they were probably only too glad to accept the offer as the two of them look miles away from playing against that calibre of team any time soon in the champions league.

To be fair to Neville he has always been a leftie, as a player he was heavily involved in the trade union and has put money in to grassroots football and homelessness initiatives.

Yeah Neville seems to genuinely passion about football. I think this might just be a ploy to get concessions from Uefa for the revamped champions league, pretty disgusting anyway. How boring would it be anyway, playing same teams, no relegation, hardly able to get to an away game, plastic fans. Some times makes you grateful we play in a sh1t league, no VAR etc...

If those who were running the game from FIFA down to the likes of the SFA were any cope, there would be not even the merest whisper of any club wanting to create a Super League! The big European clubs have been talking about this for years, and have been threatened with sanctions at every point by people who think they are more important than the owners who want to leave those clutches, and all that will happen is the super rich will win again!

Dont understand why the big club owners would change their minds under the all the sanction threats being made, its gonna be their baw soon, and how enforceable will those sanctions be?

It is a sad day for European football, but it may just give us a shake up that is needed!
