Seems like a nice guy but has made this team a bunch of soft touches. Wee Jim will be spinning in his grave with that toothless bunch of erseholes! I hope to God that we have a plan for next year or we are gonna be cannon fodder....Benji has kept us up this season and he's offski! Worried...very worried!

Totally agree, Mellon doesn't get the best out of our players with the way we set up. Same old sh1te that clearly doesn't work, week after week after week.

The ref today has a lot to answer for.

If Benji was fit he would save that first goal. Before then we were on top and looked good going forward.

Mellon has done well with what he has had this season.

This is pretty similar team to that which struggled in championship

We need to keep Mellon for next season and give him a chance to have a pre season and build a team.

Also we MUST sign up Shanks longer term or next season he walks for free

I would say there is absolutely NO chance Shankland will be here next season. He will be out of here like a shot after the service he's been provided with this season.

Sorry TTT I'm not one for changing managers all the time but each to their own opinion and that I'm afraid is mine. Some may not agree with it but a lot of people have had enough of watching the same old pish week after week.

Safety, no playoffs, semi final in the big cup. Would have bitten anyone's erm aff for that pre-season.

Yet.... I tend to agree. Apart from the Aberdeen match where they played right in to our hands (for once). We do seem to be a bit obvious. Punching above our weight? probably.

Today proved (to me) we are miles away from being a good SPL team.. SPL though, not too shabby.

I would give MM next season to have his own side, own tactics etc. Yet I do agree we seem to be watching the same old pish at times.

Didn't get upset today at all, always felt it was never gonna be our day.

I agree. Most of us thought we were likely to go stright down, the main thing was to stay up. Eye watering to watch at times but his hands have been tied completely by the pandemic and the court case and coming into the job at the last minute with no pre-season.

Give him the next season and some money to buy players and if theres no improvement then sure, bye-bye. I'd be surprised if he doesnt improve the team. I am still due to have dinner with him when circumstances allow so he better not leave!

I've been wanting to ask him stuff all season!

Get some money in by moving on Shankland (regrettably but we are holding the lad back) and Benji and use 1/2 of the money to fund the team. Mickey has to get the chance to buy his own players. This is Robbies team he is playing with for the most part and we didnt think Robbies team was very good

We stayed up and thats that. I'm taking that as success in our first season back.
