This is like a throwback to the days secrecy under Stalin and the Soviet Union - all this talk about a new manager while we still don't have any answers as to why MM left the club.

Decent, long term fans and season ticket holders have a right to know the truth - what went wrong ? What Happened ? Was MM pushed ? Was he unhappy with the direction the club were moving towards ? Was he being over-ruled with decisions taken out of his hands ?

This is not the Soviet Union - we need some honest answers and no hiding behind a smoke screen.

I am just worried about the names being suggested and dismayed Mellon has gone.

Follows on from Neilson getting out last summer.

Pretty clear Mellon was pushed IMHO. He was talking about transfer targets last week and his final interview after st mirren made clear he wanted to stay

Only a rumour and no idea of the original source but apparently Mellon was found to have been speaking to Tranmere without United knowing about it..!!
