Looking at the transfer thread and seeing a 'Courier exclusive' reminded me of the most notorious Courier exclusive in 1988 when they announced in big bold writing 'Brazilian World Cup superstar Josimar set to join United' The move fell through and Jim banned The Courier for blowing the secret talks that were going on.
Perked my interest in what happened to Josimar. Knew he went to Seville not much more. Reading this interesting article it sounds more like we dodged a bullet. Fame seemed to go to his head with a cocaine, prostitutes and wait for it whisky.
