O/T Worst Car You've Ever Owned

Back in the 90's I was a used car dealer selling mostly the cheaper end of the market, so it's fair to say I came across some right shrapnel !
    But what's your worst ?
    I'll kick it off.......
Zastava Yugo..these were terrible ancient Fiat designs rehashed in Yugoslavia and sold in the rest of Europe.
Noisy rattling engines, awful gearboxes, and build quality to match, at least they were cheap.

Oh dear I had a few when I was young, the worst one was a mini that I had to put a brick under the back wheel because the handbrake wasnt reliable.

When I went for the MOT the garage told me it was actually two cars "cut and shut" so I had to scrap it, despite the person who sold it to me manage to get a forged MOT

Probably an Austin Maxi. Although it had a big engine it just sounded so noisy and the steering was like trying to turn a tank. Sold it to a mate form the pit and he came back to me approx 6 months later asking for a contribution towards replacing both drive shafts as they had stripped their ends???

Don't know how he managed that other than probably trying to thrash it from a standing start. Suffice to say I gave him a firm no.

Most reliable car ever for their time? Had to be both my Datsun's. Fantastic on fuel, all the extras, sunroof, heated screens front and rear, full velour trim, 6 speed box, yes way back even in the late 70's early 80's. Would stop on a sixpence and were quite stylish for the decade. Biggest downside, s.hite bodywork that rotted so easy.

Think the Datsuns used tin instead of steel for their bodywork

    Rover 216

    Severe running on problem.

I could put the car in the garage, turn off ignition open house door and put the kettle on before the engine finally stopped.

Another....my second ever car was a 2.0S Capri in bronze,it was about 8 years old but I'd thought I'd really arrived then !
However after a few weeks I noticed the steering getting more and more vague with about 6 foot of play in it.
Anyway I eventually got underneath it to find the steering rack hanging off,it was literally yards from no steering at all.
    Went off it after that.
