    This is excellent news. It can’t be understated how important a good keeper is to the success of a team and pleased that Slocombe has committed to the club for another two seasons. He is amongst the best at this level.

    So with Slocombe, Brindley, and Lacey all signed up hopefully it will pave the way for Rawlinson, DKE and Chicksen to follow next to retain our excellent defence that is proven at this level.

    Great news, he' been a very solid performer over the last two seasons. Think we have the nucleus of a great squad. Main area we need to get right is midfield. A younger clone of Doyle to boss the midfield, and a creative central midfielder in the Draper style. We also need another central striker.

    Brilliant news. Of all those offered new contracts Slocombe is the one I most wanted to see re-sign.
