    Shooting from outside the box

    Ahh...remember when this was a thing for us? Nowt like seeing someone twat it into the top corner from a mile out. Think possession stats are partly to blame-players are too scared to take a chance and lose the ball.

    That and a lack of ability, obvs.

    Who do we have on our books who's capable of this now? Schar, maybe? Definitely not Shelvey, not now.

    Thought of this after seeing the Laurent Robert goal map-the golden ones are free kicks:

    Longstaff (sean) use to be able to do it under Rafa.
