    Sad to hear - only 68

    makes me realise how lucky I and those around me are to have reasonable health

    Reports say he passed away due to Brain Cancer.

    Quality striker for clubs and country, he had a really good career.

    Condolences to family and friends.

    Yes, very sad news indeed.

    He was the same age as me and I remember him as a good striker for club/s and country.

    Puts things into perspective. Remember this great player. Played with distinction with Plymouth and particularly Ipswich who were a great team late seventies and eighties under Bobby Robson.
