I've been fixated on 3rd since the day we lost at Torquay. Top spot is a big ask and looking through past seasons at this level it almost always seems to be somebody who finished mid-table the season prior who grabs the title, there's always somebody who has a freak season. Could be us of course, but there's more chance it won't be.

3rd is as good as 2nd in that you get the same play off path to the final - one game at home - which gives you the best possible chance if you can't finish 1st, so I'd take that.

I think so yes. He hasn't played many games for us and was previously at Blyth. I think he will demonstrate his worth and get a move up the football pyramid.
