I’m sure Goodwin’s no sniggering at the back stabber Robson and the Sheepies current plight. Much.

Hopefully he's not even noticed because he's totally focussed on us.

The curse of the caretaker managers, I wonder why clubs/fans never learn from that? Steven McLean punted from St Johnstone, no surprise listening to his interviews yesterday, turning on his players. Sure he got quite a long deal too, unfortunately got the managerial bounce needed to keep them up last season, but they have been skirting with relegation for about 4 years now, but have kept finding way to escape. I'm not including Goodwin in that btw, he had a decent stint in charge for the club to make a judgement, even though some fans were wanting him signed up after a few wins, then punted a few weeks later!

Never in a million years is MacLean a manager. F*ck knows what the Saints board ever saw in him.

The problem with guys like him, Robson, Fox etc is, they don't know how to turn it round when things start going bad. Jumping in at the top end of football management is a dangerous game. These guys would be far better cutting their teeth at a lower level first. Either that or stay away from management altogether, in Fox & MacLeans case. Neither are managers imo.

Now Martindale is out the running, I wonder if they might take a punt on Ian Murray? Has done a consistent job at Raith and are having a tremendous season again. Would be bad for Raith.....

Was just about to post the very same thing! I've been an admirer for some time, he's destined to manage in the Premiership.

Whoever takes the St J’s gig has a right job on their hands. Can’t see Murray going for it.

Kick-off delayed 45 minutes due to traffic. Pandering to the one-shoe'd minks as usual.
