Can’t say I enjoyed anything tonight. I’d sooner “Hoofball” than playing in our own box for 40 of the 96 minutes. Took 50 minutes to realise that we needed to play on the floor. We’re gonna struggle.

Decent performance for me and very unfortunate not to get owt art of the game. The plus points- Benson was pulling the strings from deep midfield and easily our MOTM. Very impressed with him. Palmer OK too. Styles looked good reverting to wing back.

Credit to Luton who are very disciplined and needed some last ditch defending at times. Classic away performance by them getting their early goal and holding out resolutely.

Our front line were finding it difficult against a physical Luton defence and couldn't make an impression. Our lack of physicality was apparent though compared to last season. However, there was some very decent build up play by us at times.

One of those nights where it didn't go for us in front of goal unfortunately.

I did think we'd score in that 2nd aif. Good chances for Brittain, Styles and Cole as well as a couple of very promising situations but their keeper wasn't tested when all said and done

Thats one of the biggest disappointments when it comes to having most of the posession, that we still didn't test the opposition keeper anywhere near enough.
It sounds like a similar opposite of how Cov bossed us at the weekend, but remember they weren't enough of a threat when it really mattered, on goal.
Cov & Luton sound like a couple of well drilled and decent teams, who should easily be mid table this season with no relegation worries.
We on the other hand are still unsure, and at the moment Im thinking even mid table might be a bit optimistic for us this time.

Acido i agree atm... to the extent of our whole season depends on one of the Belgium lads coming good...
    Anyway back to work.....
maybe a few of our forward line who i spent nearly half weeks wages on last night could come do this 12 hr shift with me.

Has the bubble burst? And we are going back to be a championship/div 1 club again? I can’t get to the matches now so don’t see them play live so I have to rely on you people who go to Oakwell for reports.

Also is it the fitness of the two Belgium boys the reason they are not in the team or are they not fitting in on the training ground? They seam to be taking a long time to get fit at such a young age.
