Empire went bankrupt around 1945, I'm never keen for the UK to get involved.

Don't know why Nicoliar doesnae parachute in with the Scottish Resistance, Taliban would surely head for the hills.😁

    I see that.

Britains involvement in Afghanistan for over 130 years leaves us obliged to be involved sometimes.

The chaos of that withdrawal is shameful.

She could pop in with her newly found emergency powers, wave her wand (metaphorically i think) and sort them all right out.

I might be wrong about this but I seem to remember hearing that after the Taliban were defeated the U.K. and US forces remained in Afghanistan as a peace keeping force. In my opinion this was hopeless. They should have been give the powers to wipe out the Taliban once and for all.

They have done their usual trick of having a consultation. If they run true to form they will ignore every person who completes the consultation stating that they are against their emergency powers becoming permanent.

There needs to be checks and balances to keep corrupt and power hungry politicians in check.

There seems to be none in Scotland.

This is pure evil and I'll say exactly the same thing if Johnson goes for another extension in Sept.

Look at the mad NZ wifey.....how the **** do the Swedes manage, speaking to neighbours, drinking without masks, consuming liquid whilst vertical.

3 weeks to flatten curve, protect nhs, get jabbed, get booster, we will have a great summer.....all pretty much bull****.......and on it goes.

Mibbe if the UK government didn't follow the USA like a puppy dog we wouldn't have a responsibility to these people in Afghanistan. Another unnecessary war that we are still paying the price for in lives and monetary.
