Unimpressed with the tactics. We were all over them, they didn’t know if they were coming or going early in the 2nd half. Soon as we scored we just switched off and go to all out defence mode.
If that’s the new plan, it ain’t gonna work. Better teams than Morecambe will peg us back and with the momentum possibly go on and win the game.

Thought we played ok at times in tricky conditions. Delighted with the goal as I couldn’t see a goal coming from anywhere. Kayode is out of his depth so Sadlier starting with Smudge, if Freddie is still ill, might be an idea. Looked good when he came on. Just pleased we won after being so disappointed on Saturday.

    Great result considering the difficulties

Probably wouldn’t win any entertainment prizes but three valuable points and another clean sheet

    Well done to all

We always need more than one goal to give us a bit of a cushion for when the inevitable capitulation comes. fortunately not today. Its ridiculous to have so much possession in the opponents half and scrape round to get a goal.

We must get a forrud and decent one at that.

Notice Mattock only on pitch 5 mins and gets a booking. If he'd been on much longer he prob would have got sent off.

Was impressed with Rathbone and Ferguson. Not sure why all the criticism of JJ, I thought he did ok tonight.

Maybe 15 minutes not 5 but isn’t that what you want to see, some bite in defence when winning 1-0?

Wasting our time on crosses we better with the ball on the deck especially with Rathbone on the pitch driving in to space and been brave with the ball looks a great player. I thought Sadlier looked good when he came on he looked more dangerous than Ferguson with the little time he had. Next game against Wednesday I would keep Rathbone in team and bring Barlaser in for Wiles and Sadlier in for Ferguson.

Good three points, boys we don’t deliberately sit back after scoring a goal ! You get pushed back by teams who have nothing to lose ! Can’t you remember from your football days, Don’t think JJ was out of his depth by any means, but Sadlier has much more guile and experience for that position? Rathbone looked immense in patches, Wiles looked good for 75 minutes then panicked a bit ! but why oh why did we bring Mattock on ? makes a slow motion replay look fast ! did absolutely nothing but get himself booked as normal for a late rash challenge.

Yes, he's learning his trade. Good pressing, lets not be too harsh on him.
