Poveda supposed to be going out on loan / Replacement signed by Brugges for Lang - wonder if we do have more to come in before the window closes.

We recruit next to nothing for the first team and dispose of one player who bled Leeds and contributed across the whole pitch and another who showed promise but was never given sufficient opportunity (how often is that so?), excellent transfer window.

Meanwhile Koch is developing into a Llorente MkII, prize boxer with a glass chin, and Rodrigo is fast following on. Super.

None of the players mentioned seem to have long term injuries but minor knocks so should all be good.

Transfer window not closed yet so we may bring in more - who knows.

The younger players brought in are all high quality so they should bear fruit. Shackleton is already getting more minutes and hopefully so will some of the others.

Seems a bit early to be crying oh wow is me - in any event it is what it is.

Sending out Poveda and keeping Costa is a crime against Football.

Has anyone noticed that Orta has not been able to get any business done for possible 1st team players from the Championship? We are now a Premier league club who finished top 10 last season, yet good Championship players seem to go to other clubs. Connor Gallagher who was reportedly someone bielsa wanted, wound up with Palace. Why? I think Orta has not been able to "sell" the club with these players.
