    big chance.

Murphy does well down the left, gets the ball in the box, it breaks to Boyle unmarked 15 yards out, blazes it over. had time to take a touch.

    Hibs miss a sitter.

Boyle breaks, beats 3 players into the box, cuts it back to Murphy, goal gaping, has to score, straight at keeper

Hibs denied what looks like a strong penalty claim on Gullan at the end.

    Ratings:

Macey - 8 - Made 3 or 4 really good saves in the early stages as Dundee dominated.

McGinn - 6 - Sorry but I think we need a right back, when Cadden gets fit, he will surely take this spot, he's been awful all season.

Porteous - 8 - I thought he was excellent, but again we are losing goals with crosses into the box, it needs sorted. good finish for goal

McGregor - 7 - I thought Daz was pretty steady, but again, our achilles heel is crosses into the box and cetre half's no winning headers.

Doig - 7 - Had a decent game but nothing spectacular, gets forward well, caught out a couple of times defensively

Gogic - 3 - He was awful, again, every pass gives the ball away and puts the team under pressure

JDH - 7 - Thought he played well, but faded when Gogic failed to turn up

Magennis - 6 - Decent but not as good as recent weeks.

Boyle - 8 - Always dangerous, another goal. what a player. Missed a good chance at 2-1 though.

Murphy - 7 - Really frustrating, he played well, but he missed a sitter that would have put us 3-1 up and outa sight

Scott - 7 - Decent debut, got in some good spaces and had a couple of half chances

    subs:

Stevenson - 6 - Come on at right back and thought he did well.

    Wright - 1 - ran about

Gullan - 3 - Got brought down at the end, and it was a good shout for a pen.

    Thoughts:

    We need reinforcements.

Doidge, Nisbet, Hanlon and Newell all out today and it showed.
