    What is Circular Economy

It has been announced today that Lorna Slater the Co Leader of the Green Party in Scotland has been appointed the Minister for Circular Economy.
Does anyone know what is the Circular Economy in Scotland or is this another of these ‘non jobs’ with a fancy title that has been created.

I know you're just looking to get a dig at the Scottish Government , SNP and Greens but I'll help you out.

The circular economy aims to replace the traditional linear economy and is a system where we reduce and re-use to the maximum effect and benefit to the environment. It's absolutely ***** that the world adopts this philosophy to avoid climate change and loss of bio diversity. Easiest way to explain both economies for comparison is as follows -

Linear economy Produce - use - dispose

Circular economy Eliminate Waste And Pollution - Keep Products And Materials In Use - Regenerate Natural Systems
