    I still can't get my head round playing a Test Match at Old Trafford in the middle of September, they're asking for all they're likely to get with that one.

    I agree Sinkow iffy in September, but there again with our weather iffy at any time

    Atherton was saying they were thinking of resting Jimmy for this Test, saving him for Old Trafford, then they thought about the likely disruption the Manchester weather could cause, and decided to play him here.
