Sad to see that yet another of the World Cup winning squad passed away today. Although he played every match of the tournament, he seemed to be overshadowed by many of the other players. He famously turned away after Sir Geoff hit the bar and many say that he would have put the ball in, if he thought that it was not a goal. His record for Liverpool was exceptional and is up there with Rush, Fowler, Owen and other famous goalscorers.
